Students or staff who have a disability may request an additional Smartcard for a carer, helper or support worker, to give them visitor access to the Library without having to sign in at an Ask4Help desk each time.
To obtain a visitor card the carer/ helper/ support worker would need to come to an Ask4Help desk with the person they are supporting, and provide two forms of identification - one with a current address and one photographic. If required, the customer could also ask that their carer/ helper /support worker is given proxy right to their Library account, allowing that person to borrow items on their behalf.
