SCONUL is the Society of College, National and University Libraries, and through it's access scheme you may be able to gain access to most university libraries in the UK and Ireland.

The level of access available depends on student status (undergraduate/ post graduate/ full time/ part time etc.) and by each individual library. To apply for membership of the scheme, you must be in good standing with your home library - no overdue books or unpaid library charges.

If you are a member of the SCONUL Access Scheme from another instution, you will be able to use Northumbria University Library on a reference only basis during core hours, and may also be eligible to limited borrowing rights.
