You are responsible for any items that you borrow, and if you have lost or damaged a library book then you will need to pay the replacement costs plus any overdue charges, if applicable.

If you have lost or damaged a book, the we will contact you to let you know what the replacement costs are - this will include any discount that we receive from our supplier.

However, we may be able to accept a suitable replacement copy in lieu of payment; if you find yourself in this situation - please do not purchase a replacement book without contacting us, as it is likely that we will be able to purchase a replacement at a lower cost than is normally available to the public.
